Hope On Wheels
Through Safe Harbor’s Whole Woman program she discovered her God ordained purpose in life, found her identify in Christ, and experienced freedom from dependence on substances.
Once she finished the Whole Woman program, she moved into Safe Harbor’s Greenleaf Apartments with her daughter and started a full-time job. A real and challenging obstacle was reliable transportation. A plea went out to the community and a generous donor gave a vehicle to Safe Harbor. Their gift allowed her to go keep her job and take her daughter to school.
Reliable transportation allows women living in recovery to get to their appointments, care for their children, and go to work. Many people have an extra vehicle that would make a wonderful , life-changing gift.
If you own a reliable working vehicle, would you like to donate your vehicle to help one of our woman who is getting back on her feet? Safe Harbor will connect your gift with those in need. Vehicle donations are tax deductible at their blue book value and Safe Harbor provides all the documentation needed.
If you have a reliable vehicle you would like to donate to Safe Harbor, please contact Lisa at 828-326-7233 or lisa@safeharbornc.org for details. Safe Harbor does not provide vehicles to women not currently in our programs.
