Women's Lives are TRANSFORMED everyday
Join us and see God transforming lives
At Safe Harbor, the staff believes “the opposite of addiction is connection” and that people find connection through community. Safe Harbor strives to create a Christ-centered community that empowers women to renew, rebuild, and recover their lives.
Safe Harbor offers a free year-long residential program for women in recovery. It also provides 15 transitional housing units for graduates of their recovery program and to women and children at risk for homelessness.
Safe Harbor’s Renewal Center has classes for women in the community, hosts recovery groups, and has a Community Center for women and children who need food, laundry facilities, showers, and support services. The Safe Harbor van picks up women and children each weekday from the Salvation Army to bring them to our Community Center. Each of these programs strives to create a safe community for women to rebuild their lives.
Safe Harbor believes that the process of recovering from substance use disorder happens best in a committed Christ- centered community that offers a holistic approach to recovery with multiple layers of life-transforming instruction.
